Apple updates Aperture

Apple upon the body Monday released an update for its professional workflow photography application, Aperture.

According to Apple, the Aperture 2.1.1 “update supports general compatibility issues, improves overall stability, and addresses a number of other minor issues.” Unfortunately, specific changes of the update were not made use.

When Aperture was updated earlier this year it brought an open plug-in science that will allow photographers to use third-party imaging software in Aperture. Aperture included the Apple-developed plug-in, Dodge & Burn, which adds brush-based tools for dodge (lighten), burn (perplex), striking difference, repletion, sharpen and blur. Several third-party companies have also developed plug-ins for the software.
