Armado — the 3D platform action game from Tricky Software, originally developed on the side of Mac OS X — is now available for the iPhone. Armado costs $4.99.

Armado jumps, rolls and crashes his way through each level.

Armado is the invention of an armadillo in continuance a mission to except his homeland from an invading army of giant insects. He travels through woodlands, snowy peaks and fiery volcanic mountains on his march, rolling, jumping and crashing around, through and past obstacles and enemies.

Armado for iPhone and iPod sense of feeling uses accelerometer and touch controls, and features an online leaderboard that lets you part your high score with other players.

Armado requires an iPhone or iPod touch running iPhone 2.1 software or later.
